“In all things present yourself as an example of good works, with integrity and gravity in your teaching.”
Titus 2:7
Lumin’s Faithful Translation
The setting
Paul wrote to Titus, left on Crete to appoint leaders in a culture proverbial for idleness and slippery speech. Young believers needed visible patterns, not slogans: the teacher’s life had to match the message so the church’s daily labor would look different from the island’s reputation.
Reflection
Where might someone watching you today confuse your “worthwhile work” with mere busyness, and what one change would make the mold clearer?
A prayer
God, make my work a clear mold, not a blur. Match my words to what I actually do, and let integrity show in small things.
Carry it with you
Pick one ordinary task today—an email, a chore, a conversation—and complete it with the same care you would if someone were copying you. If you teach or explain anything, strip out exaggeration and speak only what you can stand behind.
